The RTRFA summer program is a unique opportunity for autistic high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates to gain personal experience in independent travel. Within the exciting world of adventure education, our participants develop and practice skills necessary for their pursuit of:

Scheduled Payments - $2998 Total. $1998 Deposit, 2 monthly payments of $500 on or before 5/1 & 6/1.

The cost of the program is from $2998 per student and includes the 10-week Life Learning Adventure Program and the Grand Canyon - Red Rock Adventure. Hotel Accommodations are based upon two students sharing one room. Airfare and airport transfers are not included. Inclusions are itemized in our Program Acceptance Agreement.

Participation and License Opportunities
We authorize and distribute access to Raise The Roof For Autism Adventure Education by licensing our programs and proprietary curriculum to schools, colleges, universities, advocacy organizations, non-profit associations, and employers. Please complete and submit our Professional Inquiry Form to receive more information or to speak with our Licensing Team or Programming and Educational Staff.

WHO?
Educators
Classes are conducted via ZOOM with RTRFA staff-led interactive presentations.

Virtual Classes - Raise The Roof For Autism Educators are master's level clinicians and certified teachers.

3 Local Meetups - Leaders are RTRFA-trained and/or are special education teachers, graduate students, and autism specialists.

Lead Adventure Guides are US Wilderness Field Responders, First-Aid & CPR Certified or International Equivalent.

Adventure Hosts and Facilitators are RTRFA-trained and seasoned adventure travel specialists.
-
Peer Mentors - are ASD RTRFA adventure alumni and are RTRFA trained.
WHAT?
Course Inclusions
Raise The Roof For Autism provides students and parents with comprehensive, end-to-end,
individualized services and support.

Participant screening and acceptance protocols.
-
Individualized student and parent consultation and recommendations.
-
Virtual class sessions, materials, and the apps required for physical training, gamification, and reporting.

Local Meet-ups. (Combination Classes & Arizona Classes). Combination Classes are a hybrid of virtual and on-site Local meetups and are led by RTRFA-trained third parties or on a train-the-trainer basis.

Operation of all aspects of Autism Adventure Education trips, including safety protocols, adventure education itinerary, planning, logistics, local destination management, local transportation, accommodations, and meals.
Required Student Gear
Smart Phone - For Course Apps For Physical Training, Communications & Reporting. (Apps Included).
Access to a desktop/laptop computer.
Internet Access (Ongoing).
Proper hiking boots/shoes.
Proper Adventure Gear For Meetups & Travel Adventure. (List & Recommendations Provided).

Exclusive License - Minimum of 6 students enrolled in the same session. (Maximum of 12 Students).

Organizational Exclusive License Fee - $10,000. (1x) Annual Renewal $5000/year.

Organizational On-Demand License Fee - No Minimum - $5000 (1x) Annual Renewal $2500/year.

Organizational On-Demand Special Adventure License Fee - (Limit 2 Students) $1000/student.
ALL enrollments are on a space-available, student-acceptance basis.
*Due to the adventurous and fluid nature of ALL RTRFA programs, and our diverse class of participants, STUDENT, and PARENT acceptance into any RTRFA program is determined solely at the discretion of the Development and Education staff and Program Manager. No exceptions are allowed.
